The event was organized as part of the “Year of Working Professions” and the nationwide environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan.”

What new projects are being implemented this year? How is the city preparing for the holiday season? How many domestic and international tourists are expected to be attracted?

Students are not limited to classroom learning — they acquire professional skills in real production environments such as factories, auto service centers, telecommunications companies, and other enterprises.

The event aims to expand trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and China and to promote Chinese companies in the Central Asian markets.

The meeting was chaired by Maksat Zhanabayev, Deputy Head of the Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development of Astana. Participants included Artyom Kvashuk, Chairman of the Board of Astana Tourism; Wang Yu, Deputy Chair of the People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of Yunnan Province; Chen Xiao, Head of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Kunming Municipal People’s Government; and Ma Xinnü, Party Secretary of the Institute of Economically Significant Crops of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences.

In the 20th century, Kazakhstan became home to some of the largest camps of the GULAG system – ALZHIR, Steplag, and Karlag. The republic was virtually turned into one vast prison. Over the years of repression, more than 5 million people were exiled to camps in Kazakhstan.

The Forum was inaugurated by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

A meeting was held at the Astana Invest front office between Deputy Head of the Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development, Temirlan Keldibayev, and Olga Larsen, CEO of the Eastern Norway Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with representatives of leading Norwegian companies.

This meeting was organized as a key dialogue platform aimed at deepening mutually beneficial cooperation between government bodies and the business community, as well as improving the investment climate. The main goal of the event was to listen to the concrete issues and proposals of investors and jointly explore effective solutions.
