The agro-industrial complex is one of the key sectors of Kazakhstan.
The volume of production in Kazakhstan is growing annually. In 2022, the gross output of agriculture in Kazakhstan amounted to 5.4 trillion tenge. (growth of 22.5%).
Kazakh products of the agro-industrial complex are in demand not only on the domestic market, but also on the external market. The main buyers of agricultural goods in Kazakhstan are the EAEU countries, China and Iran.
Investment activity in the agricultural sector is also showing growth. In 2022, the growth of investments in fixed assets reached 6.7%, amounting to 853.5 billion tenge.
The state at the republican and local executive level creates conditions for the development of this industry by creating favorable conditions for doing business in the country. Investors are offered preferential credit terms, customs duties, tax breaks and in-kind grants.
