In accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 16 of the Law of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption" dated November 18, 2015 № 410 - V of the Laws of Kazakhstan in the subjects of quasi-public sector a structural unit or a responsible person performing the functions of anti-corruption compliance service is determined. The main task is to ensure compliance of this organization and its employees with the anti-corruption legislation of Kazakhstan. At the same time, the responsible person performing the functions of the ACS is determined taking into account potential conflicts of interest.

The anti-corruption compliance service exercises its powers independently of the executive body, officials of the quasi-public sector entity, is accountable to the Board of Directors, Supervisory Board (if any) or other independent management body and is independent in ensuring compliance with the requirements of the anti-corruption legislation of Kazakhstan.

The organization and procedure of activities of the Compliance Officer of "AstanaInvest" City Investment Development Center LLP are determined by: Kazakhstan Law "On Combating Corruption", decisions of the Partnership's Supervisory Board, the Unified Regulation on anti-corruption services in quasi-public sector entities, as well as the Partnership's internal regulatory documents.

The purpose of the Compliance Officer's activities:

Ensuring compliance with anti-corruption legislation, monitoring the implementation of anti-corruption measures, formation of the Partnership's internal legal and corporate culture that rejects corruption and ensures the principles of honesty and integrity in the performance of their official duties.

Objectives:

• To carry out a unified policy in the field of anti-corruption;
• Forming an understanding of zero tolerance for any corrupt practices among the Partnership's officials and employees;
• minimizing the risk of involvement of the Partnership's officials and employees, as well as third parties, in corrupt activities;
• Development and implementation of anti-corruption standards aimed at preventing and combating corruption, minimizing and eliminating the consequences of corrupt practices.
• Fostering in employees strict compliance with anti-corruption legislation and internal regulations governing the Partnership's anti-corruption activities;
• Preventing the presence of corruption factors in the Partnership's internal regulatory documents;
• Ensuring openness, fair competition and objectivity in the performance of work and provision of services.
