Astana Akim Zhenys Kassymbek shared on his Instagram page details of the investment projects supported in the capital.
"We continue to systematically attract private investment into the development of the capital — both in social infrastructure and in projects across manufacturing, logistics, transport, and other key sectors of the economy. By the end of 2025, a record volume of investment was attracted into the capital's economy — approximately 2.5 trillion tenge, which is 21.3% higher than the previous year's figure. Behind these numbers lie the creation of new jobs, the expansion of production capacities, the development of urban infrastructure, and the enhancement of the capital's investment attractiveness.
At a recent session of the investment headquarters, a number of investor proposals were reviewed. These include the construction of an international school for 3,000 students, a server equipment manufacturing plant, a football academy, and others. Special attention was given to projects such as a 960-rack data processing centre and a Tier IV reliability-rated data processing centre. The project envisages the creation of infrastructure to host critical IT systems with a total capacity of up to 100 MW, with the first phase set to launch in 2027. The implementation of these initiatives will strengthen Astana's position as a regional digital hub.
The total investment volume of the projects presented at the investment headquarters amounts to more than 380 billion tenge. Implementation is planned for 2026–2031, with the creation of over 1,200 new jobs.
We hold regional investment headquarters meetings on a regular basis and provide investors with comprehensive support at every stage of project implementation," wrote the head of the capital, Zhenys Kassymbek.
