In 2023, the ICT industry's share in GDP was 4.3%. The production of computers and peripheral equipment in Kazakhstan amounted to 45.7 billion tenge. IT service exports from Astana Hub reached 127.3 billion tenge. Foreign direct investment in IT services was 60 billion tenge, highlighting its appeal to foreign investors.

This industry receives government support through subsidies, reduced loan interest rates, tax, and customs exemptions.
