Chemical industry is one of the leading branches of manufacturing industry in Kazakhstan.
The volume of industrial production is growing annually. At the end of 2023, the volume of chemical production amounted to 957.5 billion tenge (2022 - 950 billion tenge).
There are 50 operating enterprises in the chemical industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The enterprises of Kazakhstan work not only for the domestic market, but also for export. The main volume of chemical products is directed to Russia, China and Uzbekistan.
Investments in the enterprises of chemical industry by the results of 2023 amounted to 194.9 billion tenge.
The state at the republican and local executive level creates conditions for the development of this industry by creating favorable conditions for doing business in the country. Investors are offered favorable credit terms, customs duties, tax breaks and in-kind grants.
