«Synchronize watches» with the business

LLC «City Center for Investments Development «ASTANA INVEST» jointly with the SI Astana Office for Investment and Enterprise Development hosted two meetings of the Akim of the city of Astana Aset Isekeshev with foreign business associations based in Kazakhstan: with the Association of Foreign Investors Council (AKSII) on May 31 this year and the European Business Association of Kazakhstan (EUROBAK) on June 1 this year.

The meetings highlighted the main directions for further development of Astana and opportunities that could practically be applied in conjunction with the business. There are also three initiatives to create a sustainable and balanced economy of the city, which is the growth of private investment, the development of mass entrepreneurship and a new quality of human capital.

The business community was introduced to 10 key sectors * and investment products, in which the city focusing and actively searches for new solutions and proposals from the business, incl. investors.

Also noted the systemic measures to improve the business climate in Astana, implemented by the akimat of the city of Astana, among them simplification of administrative procedures, including better access to land, real estate and infrastructure, the effectiveness of the Regional Council for attracting investment and improving the investment climate, etc.

* 5 tradable (tourism, development, modern production, financial center, services for the public sector, international organizations and TNCs) and 5 supporters (education, health, trade and logistics, culture and sports, creative sectors).
