The XIII Forum of Kazakhstan machinery manufactures has opened in the capital. This is a key industry event that defines the development directions of the country’s engineering sector. Over 1,500 delegates from 20 countries, including representatives of government bodies, businesses, and leading global manufacturers, are discussing pressing issues and challenges in modern engineering.
The forum agenda includes practical aspects of implementing the Comprehensive Plan for the Development of the Engineering Industry, which sets the strategic goals and objectives for the sector. Special attention is given to the role of international partners in modernizing production, implementing advanced robotics and digital technologies, and training highly qualified personnel.
A significant part of the discussions is devoted to the development of key engineering segments that are strategically important for Kazakhstan’s economy, including railway, agricultural, oil and gas engineering, and automotive manufacturing.
The Engineering Forum serves as the main dialogue platform where representatives of the state and business jointly shape the conceptual vision for the development of the engineering and manufacturing industries.
As part of the forum, the international specialized exhibition KAZAKHSTAN MACHINERY FAIR 2026 is being held at the EXPO International Exhibition Center. The exhibition showcases advanced technologies, modern equipment, and innovative solutions across various engineering fields. Exhibitors include enterprises from Industrial Park No. 1 in the capital, such as the VMP Astana paint and coatings plant and the Locomotive Assembly Plant.
