Meeting with International rating company S&P Global

Today at the site of Astana Invest a meeting was held with head of the branch of the international rating agency S&P Global in Russia and the CIS. Possibility of assessing the creditworthiness and assigning a rating of the capital was discussed. We agreed to continue cooperation, including the exchange of information on credit ratings. 

In general, S&P assigns credit ratings on a national and regional scale. For the investment community of the city, the assignment of S&P Global ratings will mean a transition to a qualitatively different level of relations with creditors, holders of debt instruments, investors and business partners.

Issuers can use credit ratings to inform market participants about the relative credit quality of their debt obligations, thereby increasing the number of potential investors.
