Singapore company will create educational centers for lifelong learning in Nur-Sultan

Today, Mayor’s Office of Nur-Sultan city, JSC «NC «Kazakh Invest» and the Singapore company «Pegasus Education Group» signed an agreement of intention on the implementation of an investment project in the development of the education system in Nur-Sultan .

The main objective of the project: «Creation of educational centers for lifelong learning: kindergarden - secondary school - college in Nur-Sultan» with the use of the internationally recognized Singaporean education system.

It is assumed that the total investment at the first stage will be about $ 20 million, it is planned to create 300 new jobs.

Mayor’s Office of Nur-Sultan city will provide comprehensive assistance in the provision of existing government support measures for the implementation of investment projects: the provision of a state in-kind grant in the form of a land plot, building up the necessary infrastructure, subsidizing interest rates, per capita regulatory funding, etc.

The investor, for his part, plans to implement the Project with relevant characteristics: kindergarten with no less 200 (two hundred) places, a school of at least 2000 (two thousand) places, a college of at least 2000 (two thousand) places, attract at least 30% of Kazakhstan’s teachers from the general teaching staff in the framework of the Project’s operational activities, implement international programs with the possibility for graduates to get internationally recognized diplomas and / or certificates.
