Chairman of the Board Astana Invest Yerzhan Baltaev visited the Capital Circus of Nur-Sultan and further development was discussed.

During the meeting, a circus and behind the scenes tour was held, also the head of a circus shared plans for the future: the entertainment program for wider coverage of the population with cultural and mass events such as new shows, the creation of mobile away groups, the invitation of named masters and other.

The capital circus of Nur-Sultan is one of the main circuses of Kazakhstan (Almaty and Shymkent). In 2019, the capital circus visited 85 thousand viewers (Almaty- 68 thousand, Shymkent- 63 thousand). The building in the form of a ′′flying saucer′′ is considered one of the unique circus buildings in the former USSR (along with the Kazan circus). Remarkably, this modern infrastructure draws the attention of more tourists to the capital every year.

The entertainment industry generates 1,5 % of the GVA (gross value added) of the city.  In 2020, the Air Force is amounted to KZT 107 billion (2019-122 billion), according to the Republic of Kazakhstan-558 billion tenge.

Today, in the circus are working 296 people. Here are all genres of circus art: acrobatics, gymnastics, illusion, clowned, and more. The creative team of the capital's circus is the well-deserved masters of circus art, laureates of international festivals and competitions.
