In the capital, under the leadership of the akim of the city of Altai Kulginov, a meeting of the Regional Coordination Council on investment in an online format was held. At the meeting, 17 new promising projects in the field of education, sports, medicine and logistics were presented, the implementation of which will attract about 75 billion tenge of investments to the country's economy and create more than 1,400 jobs.
For example, the implementation of projects in the field of education will additionally create about 9,500 preschool and student places. Among projects in the field of education, it is worth highlighting the construction of an international school and kindergarten, with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) training system. In addition, these schools are accredited by international organizations: Singapore Examination and Assessment Board (SEAB), University of Cambridge, ACT educational solutions.
Active work is underway to attract investment in the manufacturing sector of the economy. Projects for the production of disposable masks for industrial use, electric motors of various capacities, "smart" metering devices and systems in the field of electricity, heat and water supply, personal hygiene and health products, and concrete were supported. The total investment in this sector will amount to 9.546 billion tenge.
In order to further develop medicine in the capital, a project was supported to build a medical center with a unique Korean methodology and technology.
As part of the development of food security in the city of Nur-Sultan, it is planned to build a large vegetable storage facility that meets the highest storage requirements, which will undoubtedly help to provide the capital with the necessary food supply. The project will create about 50 new jobs.
The project for the construction of a service center for agricultural machinery will be important for the agro-industrial complex. This project plans to provide agricultural machinery in Akmola region with quality services.
Following the meeting of the Council, the akimat agreed on the presented projects, for the implementation of which full support will be provided in terms of allocating land plots, investment preferences provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
