We present to your attention the updated data on investments in fixed capital of Nur Sultan city for January-October 2019.

In January- October 2019, the volume of investments in fixed assets of Nur-Sultan city amounted to 708.3 billion tenge, which is 8.6% less than in the corresponding period last year.

One of the reasons for the decline in investment in fixed assets during this period is the general decline in the pace of construction. The volume of construction work has decreased from the beginning of this year by 3.4% (volume index - 96.6%) and amounted to 410.5 billion tenge, as well as a decrease in the volume of commissioning of housing by 35.6% or 1 303.6 thousand square meters (volume index - 64.4%).

In the investments structure infixsed assets by financing sources, 68,1% (482,3 billion tenge) is owned by enterprises, organizations and the population, budget funds account for 14,8% (105,0 billion tenge), while other borrowed funds occupy 9,3% (65,8 billion tenge) loans of banks 7,8% (55,2 billion tenge).

Foreign investments in the total volume of investments in fixed assets grew by 6.1 billion tenge and amounted to 190.5 billion tenge (January- October 2018 - 184.4 billion tenge). The share of foreign investments increased from 24,0% to 26,9%.

The volume of investments per capita amounted to 643,9 thousand tenge, which is 13,1% lower than in the same period last year. In the areas of use, the largest share of investments in fixed assets falls on operations with real estate (353.4 billion tenge), transport and warehousing (149.4 billion tenge), and industry (47.0 billion tenge).

The main investor of the city is small-business, whose investments account for 83,6% of the total volume of investments (large business – 9.1%, medium business - 7.3%).
