Investment in figures

In January-March 2019, the volume of investments in fixed assets amounted to 79.4 billion tenge, which is 48.3% less than in the corresponding period last year.

In the investments structure by financing sources, 73.7% (58.5 billion tenge) is owned by enterprises, organizations and the population, budget funds – 10.1% (8 billion tenge), loans of banks are 9.2% (7.3 billion tenge), while other borrowed funds account for 7% (5.6 billion tenge).

External investments amounted to 5.8 billion tenge, a decrease of 9.5 times as compared to January- March 2018 (54.8 billion tenge). The share of foreign investments decreased from 36.1% to 7.3%.

In terms of use, the largest share is accounted for by transactions with real estate (48.9%), industry (15.6%) (electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning), transportation and warehousing (13.8%).

The main investor of the city is small-scale enterprise, whose investments account for 82.4% of the total volume of investments (13.0% of large business, 4.6% of medium business).
