We present to your attention the updated data on investments in fixed capital of Nur Sultan city for January-December 2019.

In January- December 2019, the volume of investments in fixed assets of Nur-Sultan city amounted to 913,7 billion tenge, which is 14,7% less than in the corresponding period last year.

One of the reasons for the decline in investment in fixed assets during this period is the general decline in the pace of construction. A decrease in the volume of commissioning of housing by 37,4% or 1 433,1 thousand square meters (volume index – 62,6%).

In the investments structure infixsed assets by financing sources, 69,0% (630,9 billion tenge) is owned by enterprises, organizations and the population, budget funds account for 15,2% (138,7 billion tenge), while other borrowed funds occupy 9,6% (87,2 billion tenge) loans of banks 6,2% (56,9 billion tenge).

In the areas of use, the largest share of investments in fixed assets falls on operations with real estate (427,4 billion tenge), transport and warehousing (196,3 billion tenge), and industry (73,5 billion tenge).

Foreign investments in the total volume of investments in fixed assets grew by 42 billion tenge and amounted to 213,6 billion tenge (January- December 2018 – 255,6 billion tenge). The share of foreign investments increased from 24,2% to 23,4%.

The volume of investments per capita amounted to 826,8 thousand tenge, which is 18,6% lower than in the same period last year.

The main investor of the city is small-business, whose investments account for 81% of the total volume of investments (large business – 11,5%, medium business – 7,5%).
