Bilateral cooperation was discussed with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Kazakhstan

Chairman of the Management Board of Astana Invest Yerzhan Baltayev held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of Kazakhstan Shubdarshini Tripathi to discuss promising sectors of the economy for mutually beneficial cooperation of Kazakh-Indian business. These are such industries as medicine and pharmaceuticals, the production of building materials, as well as the establishment of the issue of the supply and packaging of Indian teas.

The activities of Astana Invest were presented to the Indian side, the measures taken to improve the investment climate in the capital, as well as measures of state support for investors were announced.

At the same time, the parties discussed already implemented and promising projects with the involvement of Indian capital.

Ms. Shubdarshini Tripathi noted the importance of doing Indian business in Kazakhstan.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation, as well as to compile a list of large companies in priority areas for holding meetings with business representatives of both countries on the implementation of investment projects.
