Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Astana City Investment Development Center Astana Invest, Auez Tynybekov, met with Samantha Teo, Executive Director for International Business of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF). The meeting was attended by representatives of more than 20 Singaporean companies who arrived in Kazakhstan under the Overseas Market Workshop program.
The Singaporean companies represented a wide range of sectors, including engineering, biotechnology, education, logistics, telecommunications, fintech, and emerging technologies.
Among the interested companies were Kingsmen Exhibits, specializing in exhibition spaces and implementing the Children’s Science Center project in Almaty; Esco Lifesciences, which develops biotechnology solutions; precision engineering company Flare Dynamics; environmental solutions developer Speco Singapore; cold chain logistics provider Jurong Cold Store; creative consulting agency Auxilio Studio; logistics company Silver Dragon Resources Singapore; digital trade platform One Good Nation; edtech companies Smartli, I Can Read, The Global Citizen Education Group; and the international parcel delivery service Geopost Southeast Asia (DPDgroup).
During the meeting, Auez Tynybekov spoke about state support measures, tax incentives, and the investor support system based on the “one-stop-shop” principle.
The Singaporean business representatives expressed interest in expanding cooperation in Astana.
This visit by the Singaporean delegation is an important step toward strengthening business ties between Kazakhstan and Singapore.
