On February 14, 2020, the first meeting of representatives of the City’s Center of Investment Development “Astana Invest” and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) took place.
During the meeting, “Astana Invest” expressed interest in the possibilities of attracting investment in the development of urban infrastructure through the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as part of their activities.
According to bankers, the EBRD can participate in financing the city’s infrastructure in the areas of housing and communal services, heat, energy and water supply. Meanwhile, a specific pilot project is required to receive investments from the EBRD.
Following the meeting, the parties identified options for cooperation.
