Nur-Sultan Airport is recognized as the best in Central Asia and the CIS

Nur-Sultan Airport was recognized as the best in Central Asia and the CIS at the World Airport Awards. The award was presented to representatives of the capital's air harbor at the EXPO passenger terminal in Paris.

This is the most prestigious award in the global airport industry. Customer service and amenities in more than 550 terminals around the world are evaluated.

According to the results of last year, air passenger traffic to Nur-Sultan increased by 48%, and the number of inbound flights increased by 18%.

International direct flights to 25 countries are operated from the capital airport (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Great Britain, Hungary, Vietnam, Germany, Georgia, India, Qatar, Korea, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Netherlands, UAE, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine and Sri Lanka) on 76 routes per week.
