Astana Mining & Metallurgy International Mining and Metallurgical Congress – AMM 2022 will be held in the capital

On June 16-17, 2022, the Astana Mining & Metallurgy International Congress - AMM 2022 will be held in the capital with the assistance of the Akimat of Nur-Sultan, including Astana Invest. The organizer of the Congress is the Kazakhstan Exhibition Company Iteca, the State Partner of the Congress and the AMM 2022 Exhibition is the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Traditionally, the Congress will bring together heads of line ministries and organizations, representatives of national and international companies, investment funds and experts from Kazakhstan and countries near and far abroad. AMM 2022 will once again act as an interactive dialogue bridge between the state.the sector and the largest business representatives, in order to discuss the priorities and issues facing the industry on the threshold of a new Kazakhstan.

Also, within the framework of the AMM 2022 Congress, there will be:

- A case session dedicated to digital technologies, geometallurgy and digitalization of processing plants with the participation of Kcell JSC and Zyfra Asia;

- III Forum of Gold Producers of Kazakhstan, where the improvement of legislation to attract investors to the MMC of the Republic of Kazakhstan, global trends in support of the precious metals industry, tax benefits and preferences, the impact of changes in the tax regime on the investment attractiveness of gold mining projects will be discussed;

- III Coal Forum, where the prospects for the development of the coal industry and decarbonization strategies will be discussed;

- the annual industry competition «Golden Hephaestus», where leading MMC specialists as part of a competent independent jury will award the best representatives in the mining and metallurgical sector and other events for their professional merits.
