The document was signed by Auez Tynibekov, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Astana Invest, and Hiroki Yamashita, Director of Initial Bonds.

Astana Invest is developing international investment cooperation and expanding engagement with foreign businesses. One of the promising areas is strengthening business ties with Japanese companies.

Initial Bonds operates in the fields of business consulting, e-commerce, language education, and career relocation.

The Memorandum is aimed at developing cooperation between the two countries, establishing direct contacts between business representatives, and facilitating the attraction of Japanese investment to Astana’s economy.

As part of the cooperation, potential investors from Japan were provided with information on government support measures, existing investment preferences, opportunities available to participants in special economic zones, as well as one-stop-shop support for investment projects.

“Astana is expanding international investment cooperation and is interested in attracting reliable foreign partners. Japan has significant technological and investment potential, which is why cooperation with Japanese businesses is a promising area for us. Joint work with Initial Bonds will help strengthen the promotion of Astana’s investment opportunities and attract new Japanese companies and projects to the capital,” said Auez Tynibekov.
