Last year, bilateral trade turnover reached nearly USD 30 billion, and this year it has already increased by an additional 9%. Key areas of cooperation include energy, mechanical engineering, metallurgy, petrochemicals, and agriculture. The two countries are implementing approximately 70 joint investment projects.

Today, Kazakhstan and Russia are building integrated production chains. Cooperation increasingly goes beyond traditional exports and imports toward the joint creation of high-value-added products. This model is becoming a cornerstone of economic integration within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

The countries are implementing more than 170 industrial cooperation projects worth over USD 48 billion, covering sectors such as mechanical engineering, metallurgy, chemicals, agricultural processing, and light industry.
