In January 2020, the volume of investments in fixed assets of Nur-Sultan city amounted to 34 billion tenge, which is 45,3% more than in the corresponding period last year.

In the investments structure infixsed assets by financing sources, 91.1% (30,993.1 million tenge) is owned by enterprises, organizations and the population, budget funds account for 5.3% (1,813.9 million tenge), while other borrowed funds occupy 3.5% (1,193.9 million tenge) loans of banks 0.1% (36.4 million tenge).

Foreign investments in the total volume of investments in fixed assets grew by more than 15 times and amounted to 15.4 billion tenge (January 2019 - 1 billion tenge). The share of foreign investments increased from 4.3% to 45.1%. The volume of investments per capita amounted to 30.7 thousand tenge, which is 38.2% higher than in the same period last year.

The main investor of the city is small business, whose investments account for 83.5% of the total volume of investments (large business - 9.8%, medium business - 6.7%).

In the areas of use, the largest share of investments in fixed assets falls on operations with real estate (13.3 billion tenge or 114%), and in art, entertainment and leisure (1.6 billion tenge or 28 592.4%).
