Happy Light Industry Workers' Day!

The role of light industry in the development of the economy is excessively important. In terms of consumption, its products occupy the second place after food products.

Every year, on the second Sunday of June, industry workers celebrate their professional holiday – the Day of Light Industry Workers.

Deputy Akim Yerlan Bekmurzayev together with the Head of the Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development Yerzhan Baltayev congratulated employees of the capital's enterprises and presented certificates of honor on behalf of the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairbek Uskenbayev and letters of thanks from the Mayor of Nur-Sultan Altai Kulginov.

Among the awarded enterprises there is also a participant of the FEZ – LLP "Production and Innovation Company «Astana Utaria Ltd».

Astana Utaria Ltd is one of the leading Kazakhstani companies in the field of production of light industry products, development of standards in the field of technical regulation and is distinguished by a wide range of clothing products. The area of the production complex is over 7000 sq.m.

The implemented project has allowed to create over 400 new jobs with high labor productivity.
