First-year students from a college in Astana visited the ModeX plant as part of career-oriented tours, according to the official website of the capital’s akimat (city administration).
During the event, students were introduced to modern production technologies and factory operations and had the opportunity to ask questions to the staff.
The purpose of the tour was to familiarize students with in-demand professions in the job market and to inspire interest in technical specialties.
The college administration and the plant director also discussed opportunities for dual education and internships for students.
On October 29, a reciprocal visit by the plant and holding company’s management to the college is expected, during which a cooperation agreement is planned to be signed.
It is worth mentioning that the Investment and Entrepreneurship Development Department of the Astana akimat, in collaboration with ASTANA INVEST and the Astana Development Center, launched a project on October 1 to organize career-oriented tours. To date, more than 4,300 school and first-year college students in the capital have already participated. By the end of the year, tours are planned for a total of 12,200 children.
