An Astana delegation led by Rakhymzhan Isakulov, Vice Minister of Industry and Construction of Kazakhstan, participated in the BRICS PartNIR Forum 2026 "Advancing the Network of Partner Cities on New Industrial Revolution", held in Xiamen, China.
The delegation also included representatives of the Astana Department for Investments and Entrepreneurship Development and the city investment development center Astana Invest.
During the panel session "Advancing the Network of Partner Cities on New Industrial Revolution," Kazakh representatives delivered a presentation on the development prospects and investment attractiveness of Kazakhstan's capital.
The delegation also visited an exhibition showcasing products and technological solutions from leading Chinese enterprises.
As part of the forum, participants toured the manufacturing facilities of Golden Dragon, a major Chinese bus manufacturer. Representatives of Astana were introduced to the company's full production cycle, from chassis assembly to the final production of passenger buses.
The company is one of China's leading automotive manufacturers and exports passenger buses to more than 100 countries worldwide, including Kazakhstan.
To strengthen international cooperation, a series of B2B meetings were held with representatives of Beijing Gongxin International and Zijin Gold International Company Limited. Discussions focused on developing the network of partner cities within the New Industrial Revolution initiative, strengthening industrial cooperation, and attracting investment to Kazakhstan's capital.
