Astana Invest Hosts Meeting with Spanish Technology Company GROINN

Following the negotiations initiated during the Astana Invest delegation's visit to Spain, Astana Invest held a meeting with a representative of the Spanish technology company GROINN.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for implementing an investment project in Astana, as well as opportunities for cooperation in the digitalization of agriculture, the development of high-tech manufacturing, and the introduction of intelligent soil monitoring solutions.

Auez Tynibekov, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Astana Invest, presented the investment potential of the capital, outlined the government support measures available to investors, and highlighted the incentives offered to participants of Kazakhstan's special economic zones.

The GROINN representative presented the company's innovative technologies and shared its plans for implementing the project in Kazakhstan.

Founded in 2020, GROINN is a Spanish technology company specializing in real-time intelligent soil monitoring solutions. Its flagship product, the GROINN Pro Series autonomous sensor, analyzes soil nutrient content, moisture, temperature, and other key parameters while transmitting data to a digital platform. The company also develops technologies in digital agriculture, artificial intelligence, cloud-based data processing, and carbon credit systems.

As part of the proposed project, GROINN is considering establishing a manufacturing facility, a research and development center, a software and artificial intelligence development center, and an international export hub for agricultural technology products in Kazakhstan.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation to facilitate further collaboration.
