Astana Hosts Meeting with Leading Construction Companies from Xinjiang

At the Astana Invest front office, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Auez Tynybekov held a meeting with a delegation representing the construction industry of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, led by Song Lanpi, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the Xinjiang Construction Industry Association.

During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding Kazakhstan–China cooperation in the construction sector, introducing advanced construction technologies, strengthening industrial cooperation, and implementing joint investment projects. Particular attention was given to opportunities for collaboration in modernizing urban infrastructure, deploying smart city technologies, developing tourism infrastructure, and manufacturing construction materials.

Representatives of Astana Invest presented the investment potential of Kazakhstan's capital and briefed the delegation on the existing government support measures, eligibility requirements, and investor support mechanisms available for investment projects.

The Xinjiang Construction Industry Association brings together more than 1,000 construction enterprises and is one of the region's leading industry organizations. It actively promotes business cooperation with Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan.
