The new system was developed to enhance convenience and comfort for visitors to the capital. The project was implemented by Astana Tourism, the tourism development center of the Astana city administration, in partnership with private investors.
This is the first 24/7 service of its kind in Kazakhstan and among CIS countries. It allows passengers to quickly and safely book a taxi at a fixed rate immediately upon arrival.
“We are engaged in developing urban tourism, attracting tourists, and improving the capital’s infrastructure. With the support of the airport administration, we have launched a project that allows tourists to book taxis without intermediaries — safely and at a fixed price,” said Artem Kvashuk, Chairman of the Board of Astana Tourism.
Terminals have been installed in the airport’s arrivals area, enabling quick and easy booking. Users can select their route, pay by bank card, and receive all the necessary taxi information: arrival time, car make, color and license plate, as well as the driver’s contact details.
The Taxi Point service operates in seven languages: Kazakh, Russian, English, Chinese, Spanish, French, and Turkish.
