A citywide clean-up was held in Astana as part of the «Taza Kazakhstan» environmental campaign

More than 100 employees of the Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development and its subordinate organizations took part in the event.

Employees of the Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development, Astana Invest, Astana Tourism, the Astana City Development Center, and the «Astana» Social and Entrepreneurial Corporation joined the clean-up.

As part of the campaign, the areas assigned to the organizations were cleaned and landscaped, and new trees and other greenery were planted.

According to Kuandyk Kurmashev, Deputy Head of the Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development, the department’s employees actively participate in such initiatives every year. In addition, throughout the year, work is carried out to engage small and medium-sized businesses in the capital in maintaining cleanliness and order across the city.

Participants in the campaign emphasized that cleanliness and order in the city begin with the personal responsibility of every individual. They called on Astana residents to treat the environment with care and contribute together to the improvement and beautification of the capital.
