“Damu” Entrepreneurship Development Fund” JSC (hereinafter referred to as “Damu” Fund/ the Fund) is established in accordance with the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 26, 1997, No. 665 "On the Creation of a Fund for the Development of Small Business."
- Since 2015, “Damu” Fund is a financial agent implementing and monitoring financial support (subsidizing remuneration rates on loans of entrepreneurs, guaranteeing loans of entrepreneurs to banks) within the framework of the Unified Business Support and Development Program "Business Roadmap 2020”.
Mission:
Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC's mission is to play an active role in the sustainable development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kazakhstan, through the implementation of comprehensive and effective support tools.
Vision:
Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC's vision for 2033 is the National Development Institute, the initiator and implementer of programs to support and develop MSMEs.
Strategic directions of the Fund's development
In order to realize its mission and vision, the Damu Fund will work on two key strategic directions of development:
1. Support and development of start-up and active entrepreneurs:
- Expansion of micro-business lending, development and implementation of support tools
- Increase in the proportion of coverage of existing SME financial programs of the Fund
- Increasing the cost-effectiveness of supported SME
2. Sustainable institutional development of the Fund:
- Attracting additional sources of funding
- Achieving the planned level of financial performance
- Automation of business processes
- Enhancing the level of corporate governance
