The project is being implemented in Industrial Park No. 1 with the support of Kazakhmys Corporation LLP. The total investment amounts to approximately KZT 5.1 billion.
The plant's flagship product will be ALEM (Astana Life Ex-situ Machine), a unique innovation developed by Kazakhstani engineers and medical professionals for the preservation, recovery, and transportation of donor organs.
The technology extends the preservation time of donor organs from just a few hours to 24 hours or more, creating new opportunities for the development of organ transplantation in Kazakhstan.
The production process will utilize locally sourced raw materials, including plastic granules supplied by the KPI plant in Atyrau, increasing the localization level of medical device manufacturing.
