Refining plant

LLP «Tau-Ken Altyn» is a refining plant for processing and refining raw materials containing precious metals. The sole shareholder of the company is JSC «NGK «Tau-Ken Samruk», part of the SamrukKazyna group.

The project to build the refining plant was implemented to address the strategic goal of increasing the country’s gold and foreign currency reserves and processing domestic raw materials containing precious metals.

The plant’s design was developed in accordance with the best global practices in precious metal refining. Considering that the refining plant is located in the capital, one of the main criteria for selecting the refining technology was the environmental safety of the processes used.
