Today, the Ceremony of laying the first stone in the construction of a private school "Tamos Space School" on the territory of the National space center took place.

Thanks to private investments and measures to support investors in the field of education, the School of space technology "Tamos Space School" will be established in the capital - the first school in the capital operating under the "Tamos" brand, which has been known in the education market for more than 25 years.

The project will create 800 student places. The opening of the new school is scheduled for September 1, 2020; the initial enrollment will be conducted for students from 0 to 4 classes in physics and mathematics. The founders of the new school are "Tamos education Physics and Mathematics school" LLP and the Malaysian company "King Development".

The laying ceremony was held with the participation of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador  of Malaysia to Kazakhstan Dato Said Mohamad Bakri bin Said Abdul Rahman, Vice Minister of digital development, innovation and aerospace industry Marat Nurguzhin, Chairman of the Board of "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary "NC" JSC  Azamat Batyrkozha, head of the Department for investment and business development of Nur-Sultan Erlan Bekmurzayev, Chairman of "Republican association of private education organizations" ALE  Roza Sadykova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of "Astana invest" CIDC" LLP Mukhamed Kabuldinov.

Note that taking into account the rate of fertility and the congestion of schools in the city, in 2018 with the assistance of akimat of Nur-Sultan, Ministry of education and science of RK, "Financial center" JSC , "Astana invest" CIDC" implementation of projects in the field of education has started in the city. In general, it is planned to build 21 private schools with kindergartens (including 7 with foreign participation) with international standards of education. The implementation of these projects will create more than 2,400 permanent jobs, about 18,000 student places and 3,200 pre-school places in the city.
