A meeting was held at the Astana Invest front office between Deputy Head of the Department for Investment and Entrepreneurship Development, Temirlan Keldibayev, and Olga Larsen, CEO of the Eastern Norway Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with representatives of leading Norwegian companies.

Temirlan Keldibayev presented the investors with state support mechanisms, shared information about ongoing investment projects, and highlighted the potential of special economic zones as attractive opportunities for business.

The parties discussed a wide range of potential areas for cooperation. Project discussions were also held with several companies: Cambi ASA is exploring opportunities for constructing biogas plants and sustainable waste processing; Optimar is interested in localizing the production of fish processing equipment; and Taraxa is considering the introduction of environmentally friendly natural rubber production. Representatives of Mørenot Aquaculture spoke about the development of aquaculture, including equipment supply and digital solutions; Tschudi Shipping Company discussed expanding its logistics business; Norwegian Product Solutions presented projects in energy, shipping, and IT; and Gexcon offered solutions in industrial safety risk analysis and management.

Both sides expressed their interest in further cooperation.
