As part of the INVEST CARAVAN initiative, the Prosecutor's Office of Astana's Baikonyr District conducted on-site meetings with investors.
During the visits, prosecutors toured investment project sites and discussed the implementation progress with investors, as well as existing administrative barriers and issues requiring support from government agencies. Particular attention was given to the timely provision of public services, land allocation, access to engineering infrastructure, and the completion of permitting and approval procedures.
The outcomes of the INVEST CARAVAN initiative were reviewed at a meeting held at the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, chaired by Erlan Almazuly, Prosecutor of Baikonyr District, with the participation of representatives of government agencies and the business community.
The initiative engaged around 20 investors. As a result of the meeting, legal consultations were provided on five inquiries, another five issues were resolved on the spot, and ten cases were placed under the Prosecutor's Office's supervision for further follow-up.
Currently, 104 investment projects with a total value of KZT 340 billion are being implemented in Baikonyr District. These projects are expected to create approximately 10,000 jobs.
The INVEST CARAVAN initiative helps identify and eliminate administrative barriers in a timely manner, ensuring effective support for investment projects and protecting investors' rights.
